Description:
  • Provide advice and support to client and/or potential clients, and assist the sales team in obtaining project awards.
  • Provide a technical proposal and quotation based on receipt of a client Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation and projections specifications.
  • Sell audit services and products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.
  • Provide input and participate in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services, and assists with project execution.

International Market Research Specialist
Description: Responsible for gathering data and preparing market research analysis and forecasting to determine position of gas compressor products and services in the international oil and gas processing and oil generation field. Will forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data; gather data on competitors and analyze pricing, sales and methods of marketing and distribution; monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature; prepare related reports regarding research analysis including effectiveness of marketing, advertising and communications programs and strategies; prepare reports of findings; collect and analyze data to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Will provide market research assistance in preparing industrial magazine and website advertising; will use Vantage/Customer management CRM software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in International Business, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent. If no bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 1 year of experience in any international sales or marketing position for each year of missing education.
  • Three (3) years experience in a professional international sales or marketing position.

Assistant Manager of Procurement
Description: To identify, contract, and manage the various ancillary trades and vendors for the completion of compressor packages. Obtain competitive pricing, negotiate contracts and work with the project managers to ensure vendors adequately perform their scope of work. Leads the Procurement department in global supply chain and cost management through contracts and negotiation with suppliers and vendors.
Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Effective business negotiation, bargaining, and management skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems.
  • Understanding of practice of 5S.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.
  • Monitor and report procurement performance to senior management and Cost Management Group.
  • Establish global purchasing system for components for the KSL Group on certain commodities to increase buying power.

Environmental, Health and Safety Manager
Description: To develop, manage, integrate, and maintain the areas of Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and to accomplish yearly goal and objectives for department at all KCA's Facilities.
Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Develop internal division policies and procedures in relation to Safety, Health & Environmental compliance and Workers Compensation management.
  • Improve operations with leadership development in Environmental, Health and Safety, compliance success monitoring.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor E.H.S. metrics to guide prevention strategies while keeping management informed.
  • Facilitate divisional efforts to establish E.H.S. Teams for local management.

  • Manage Budget and verify payment of all department related invoices.

  • Oversee all active workers compensation claims with focus on reducing costs and expediting claim closure.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Eight to Ten years of direct EH&S, and Workers Compensation Claim Management experience and managing multiple facilities.
  • Certified OSHA Outreach Instructor for General Industry.
  • CPR/FA/AED Certified, and Forklift Instructor Certified.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Regional Regulations, SWPPP, SPCC, AQMD, OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, Cal/EPA and EH&S Management systems.
  • Familiar with Risk Management principals and industry insurance policy forms and endorsements.
  • Certifications preferred (CSP, CSS, RSP, CIH, or Other)
  • Speak, write, and read Spanish is strongly recommended.

Field Service Engineer
Job Duties:
  • Completion of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance for KCA’s process gas compressor systems.
  • Travel to the client’s job site location, and supporting the client with required activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, or maintenance of KCA supplied systems.
  • Completion of daily reports, trip reports, and other documentation related to field service department.
Skill Requirements:
  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering, or 5 years of field service / rotating equipment experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to take control of a field service assignment.
  • Must display professionalism at all times, and represent the company with the highest standards.
  • Must have rotating equipment / millwright experience to include machinery alignment, and maintenance / mechanic skills.
  • The ability to read blue prints, and P&ID’s is a plus.

Sales Engineer
Job Duties:
  • Assist in the negotiation of contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.

After Sales Representative (Technical)
Job Duties:
  • Communicate with a region of customer accounts in the US as well as international countries to grow / support internal office sales of After Sales products, which includes spare parts and overhaul parts, as well as system modifications and upgrades parts, of an installed base of process gas compressor systems and packages, comprising of screw compressors, centrifugal compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filter systems, lubrication systems, motors, control systems, etc.
  • Provide quotes for After sales products.
  • Confirm accuracy of any parts numbers from customer inquiries.
  • Provide support for any alternate parts for replacing if any existing parts are obsolete and no longer available with technical explanation & clarification.
  • Review customer purchase orders (POs), their specs, and getting agreements for any amendments on customers' POs.
Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Field.
