Job Duties:
  • Gather, organize and analyze information on problems or procedures and develop solutions or alternate methods.

Field Service Engineer - Brazil
Job Duties:
  • Completion of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance for KCA’s process gas compressor systems.
  • Travel to the client’s job site location, and supporting the client with required activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, or maintenance of KCA supplied systems.
  • Completion of daily reports, trip reports, and other documentation related to field service department.
Skill Requirements:
  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering, or 5 years of field service / rotating equipment experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to take control of a field service assignment.
  • Must display professionalism at all times, and represent the company with the highest standards.
  • Must have rotating equipment / millwright experience to include machinery alignment, and maintenance / mechanic skills.
  • The ability to read blue prints, and P&ID’s is a plus.
  • Must be able to communicate at business level in English and Portuguese (read, write & speak).

Sales Engineer
Job Duties:
  • Assist in the negotiation of contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Analyze and elaborate technical proposal making comments and deviations list; datasheets and proposal drawings; project cost budget and any additional standard request documentation requested from the client to be included in the quotation.
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrating how KCA's product meets the needs of project requirements and various applications.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, after-sales support services, and assistance during project execution after award.
  • Provide technical knowledge in the design of custom-made products.
Skill Requirements:
  • B.S. Engineering or equivalent.

Electrical Engineer
Job Duties:
  • Reviews clients specifications for every project assigned to.
  • Coordinates with other engineering / design departments to confirm correct overall system design.
  • Develops documentation related to the project: Wiring Diagrams, Control panel and Junction Boxes Layouts, Electrical Equipment lists, Sequence of Controls, Memory Maps, Data sheets for instrumentation including vibration hardware, Cause and Effect, Logic Diagrams, Quality Plans (F.A.T), Test Sheets, Alarm and trip set-point tables, System Architecture drawings, Laser Cut drawings, Instrument Rack drawings, Electrical Hook Up drawings, Instrument Installation drawings, Cable Lists, etc.
  • Selects electrical hardware/materials in accordance with client's specifications while ensuring that all components are rated for the applicable hazardous location and local/international codes.
  • Prepares requisitions for all electrical materials and supports for tubing.
  • Revise documents in accordance to comments provided by clients.
  • Coordinate with production and quality control to ensure fabrication meets design criteria.
  • Provide technical support for site commissioning activities.
  • Supports the Controls Group, other departments, inspectors, and clients with the testing of the control systems.
  • Perform special tasks as assigned by Seniors, assistant manager or manager.
Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • PLC and HMI Programming.
  • Proficient in CAD software.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel.
  • Capable of fully and consistently completing projects within specifications, on time and under budget.
